Join a world‑class engineering team within the Global Products Group (GPG), where you'll help develop the next generation of semiconductor manufacturing technology. In this role, you'll design and develop advanced mechanical and electro‑mechanical systems that power cutting‑edge etch and deposition products used throughout the semiconductor industry.
Working across the full product lifecycle, you'll collaborate with cross‑functional teams to conceptualize, model, analyze, validate, and productize complex systems while helping solve some of the industry's most challenging engineering problems.

What You'll Do- Support the full lifecycle of mechanical and electro‑mechanical systems from concept through productization
- Create detailed 3D CAD designs and models using Siemens NX
- Design components utilizing metals, ceramics, quartz, plastics, and advanced coating technologies
- Perform engineering analyses including structural, thermal, stress, vibration, fluid flow, gas flow, and manufacturability studies
- Develop and execute feasibility studies, qualification testing, and validation plans
- Ensure compliance with SEMI standards, Lam standards, and GD&T best practices
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to optimize manufacturability, quality, and cost
- Lead design reviews and communicate technical findings through reports and presentations
- Conduct RCCA investigations, FMEA reviews, risk assessments, and technical problem‑solving activities
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
- 8+ years of experience in mechanical engineering with a Bachelor's degree, or 6+ years of experience with a Master's degree
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline
- 5+ years of experience using Siemens NX for 3D CAD design and modeling
- 5+ years of experience performing mechanical, thermal, structural, or heat transfer analysis
- Demonstrated hands‑on engineering, design, testing, and product development experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical presentations
- Experience with vacuum system design and high‑voltage RF environments
- Deep understanding of heat transfer and thermal management principles
- Experience conducting Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations
- Experience leading Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) activities
- Proficiency with MATLAB and Simulink
- Experience leading engineering projects while managing multiple priorities
- Strong understanding of GD&T, manufacturability, and industry engineering standards
- Ability to facilitate technical brainstorming and cross‑functional problem‑solving sessions
- Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen
- Work may involve light lifting up to 20 lbs
