HYVE Solutions is seeking a detail‑oriented, hands‑on Hardware Engineer to configure, validate, and optimize data‑center hardware solutions tailored to customer needs.

What You’ll Do

As a Hardware Engineer, you will collaborate with engineering, sales, and supply chain teams to bring cutting‑edge data center hardware from concept to production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and provide feedback on customers’ design and technical requirements.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Field Engineering on server, rack, and networking integration at the BOM level.
  • Lead first‑article builds and manage production documentation, including BOM validation, hardware optimization, and engineering instructions.
  • Provide technical input to designers, engineers, and other team members to advance new ideas.
  • Work closely with Engineering, Technical Program Management, Supply Chain, and Purchasing to ensure a smooth transition from NPI to mass production.
  • Coordinate ECN/ECO processes in internal and external PLM systems.
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors and cross‑functional teams.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical) or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Hardware Engineer, with deep understanding of rack architecture, network gear (switches, optics, cables), and power/cooling technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a continuous‑improvement mindset.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
  • Experience with Wiki/Project tracking software (Confluence, JIRA) and PLM systems (Agile or similar) is a plus.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment or partnering with ODM/OEM to develop and launch new products.
  • Willingness to travel (5%+ domestic/international).
