The successful development of automation equipment requires a seamless integration of Electrical, Mechanical, Embedded Controls and Software engineering. ResponsibilitiesWork with a team in the development of new generation controls solutions and engage in analyses of complex field and manufacturing challenges.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing new PCBs for system and robot controllers and creating Engineering Design Specifications.
- Delivering technical presentations and resolving cross‑functional issues.
- Ensuring proper documentation, consistent use of processes and systems, and adherence to engineering design standards.
- Collaborating with mechanical and software engineers on complete product solutions.
- Participating in design reviews, addressing customer and operations inquiries, and conducting hands‑on prototyping or testing in labs.
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience, or a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years of experience.
- Experience with SPICE modeling and analysis.
- Digital circuit design with microcontrollers and communication protocols (SPI/I2C/Serial).
- Design of DC‑DC power supply circuits.
- Component selection and data‑sheet interpretation.
- Cable design expertise.
- Proficiency using standard lab equipment and tools; proficiency in prototyping and debugging circuits in a lab.
- Competency in Altium is preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem‑solving, technical communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to learn complex systems quickly and work independently.
- Proficiency in standard Windows applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
