Global Supply Manager (Gsm)

About Pebble Pebble is a sustainable living startup defining a new way to live, work, and explore from anywhere with a 100% electric, hassle-free RV trailer. Built by a team of experts in both automotive and consumer technology, Pebble combines electrification with cutting-edge automotive technology for a travel trailer experience that removes the hassles RV trailer owners have struggled with for decades.

At Pebble, we are building out the future of lighter, more flexible living. We see a world where your home can be anywhere you want to take it. Pebble blends the best of what it means to be at home, on the road, and off-grid into something useful and magical. This is a collective effort. Our team is dedicated to making not just products, but a lifestyle that is truly sustainable.

If the idea of building out the future sparks your imagination and intersects with your skills, we'd love to meet you. As a Global Supply Manager (Gsm) at Pebble, you will play a pivotal role in managing the commercial relationships with key suppliers, ensuring production supply and delivery of components are on time and remain uninterrupted, negotiating for optimized costs, and fulfilling contracts efficiently.

Your impact will resonate across the organization, influencing product quality, cost-effectiveness, and supply chain resilience. This is an exciting opportunity to lead product cost management through building, developing, and optimizing our supply chain from 0 to 1, 1 to 10, and 10 to 100 phases. This role offers a platform for professional growth and the chance to shape Pebble's supply chain strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure on-time delivery, quality standards, and cost efficiency of supplied materials.
  • Manage supplier contracts, negotiating terms to optimize value and mitigate risks.
  • Develop and execute supply risk mitigation plans to ensure continuity of supply.
  • Implement and drive a comprehensive cost reduction strategy across the supply chain.
  • Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and industrial design teams to source, develop, and scale NPI mechanical components.
  • Identify, qualify, and manage suppliers for key mechanical components such as CNC machined parts, sheet metal, enclosures, casings, jigs, tooling, fixtures, injection-molded plastics, and other precision-engineered parts.
  • Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure manufacturability, cost-effectiveness, and supply chain operations readiness.
  • Drive supplier selection, qualification, and performance management to align with company objectives and ensure a robust supply chain.
  • Proactively identify and escalate key supply and cost risks to management for strategic decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience as a Global Supply Manager (Gsm), preferably in automotive, consumer electronics, or related industries.
  • Strong background in sourcing and supply chain management for mechanical components, manufacturing engineering, and industrial design collaboration.
  • Hands-on experience with manufacturing practices involving CNC machined parts, sheet metal, enclosures, injection molding, vacuum forming, and other mechanical fabrication techniques.
  • Proven experience sourcing custom mechanical systems used in automotive or RV applications.
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills, with the ability to toggle between strategic thinking and detailed execution.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Experience working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with flexibility to adapt to rapidly changing conditions.
  • Ability to travel internationally up to 25%.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; MBA a plus.

Benefits:
Healthcare, Dental, Vision, 401k, Unlimited Paid Vacation Policy $160,000—$204,000 USD
