What the Hiring Manager is Looking For

Ideal Background:

Semiconductor, Electronics, Hardware R&D, Medical Devices, Advanced Materials, or Research Laboratories.

• Seeking a hands-on Laboratory Manager with a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering (preferred) or Computer Science and 4+ years of industry experience managing advanced engineering labs.
• The ideal candidate will oversee laboratory operations while actively supporting engineering teams through electrical, RF, optical, and materials testing.

• Manage day-to-day laboratory operations, equipment, procurement, and inventory.
• Operate, calibrate, configure, and maintain advanced laboratory instruments and test systems.
• Perform and support Signal Integrity, Circuit, I-V, RF, and Optical (Thermal/Light Microscopy) testing.
• Ensure ISO compliance, laboratory documentation, and audit readiness.
• Prepare technical reports, present test results, and provide technical guidance to engineers and lab personnel.

• Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering (preferred) or Computer Science.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in an engineering/R&D laboratory.
• Strong expertise in Signal Integrity, Circuit Testing, I-V, RF Testing, Optical Microscopy, and Lab Equipment Calibration.
• Experience with laboratory operations, procurement, inventory management, and ISO standards.
• Knowledge of Solid Works, 3D Printing, and CT Scanning.
• Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.

• Python programming and basic AI knowledge.
• Materials characterization experience (DSC, TGA, XRF, FTIR).
