What You'll Do:
  • Design and analyze mechanical systems, assemblies, and components for advanced semiconductor capital equipment.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, design evaluations, and engineering analyses on new and modified products.
  • Develop and execute test plans to validate product performance and reliability.
  • Create design documentation and provide technical information for drafting, manufacturing, and packaging activities.
  • Support prototype fabrication, product testing, and engineering development efforts.
  • Communicate technical concepts, design intent, and engineering solutions to cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, systems, and engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
What You'll Bring:
  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, product development, equipment design, or related engineering environments with a BSME; or 3+ years of experience with an MSME.
  • 5+ years of experience creating mechanical models, assemblies, and engineering drawings using CAD software.
  • 3+ years of experience performing product design, testing, validation, and engineering documentation activities.
  • 3+ years of experience supporting complex electromechanical systems, automation equipment, capital equipment, or industrial products.
  • 2+ years of experience performing engineering analysis, troubleshooting technical issues, and implementing design improvements.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required;
    Master's degree preferred.
What Sets You Apart:
  • Experience with NX, Creo (Pro/ENGINEER), or Solid Works, with NX experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience in the semiconductor industry.
  • Experience designing robotic systems or end-of-arm tooling.
  • Experience designing power enclosures, bus bars, RF straps, and related hardware.
  • Experience developing thermal management solutions including heat sinks, fans, heat exchangers, cold plates, heaters, and temperature monitoring systems.
  • Knowledge of material properties and manufacturing considerations for aluminum, plastics, ceramics, quartz, and other engineering materials.
  • Experience performing Finite Element Analysis (FEA), including structural and thermal analysis.
  • Experience conducting tolerance stack-up analysis and design verification.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis methods, engineering data evaluation, and technical presentations.
  • Strong problem-solving, failure analysis, and root-cause investigation skills.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
