The Group You'll Be A Part OfThe Customer Support Business Group focuses on enabling our customers with premier customer support throughout their lifecycle with Lam. We drive performance, productivity, safety, and quality of customers installed base performance and deliver service and lifecycle solutions for their most critical equipment and processes.
The Impact You'll MakeAs a Global Product Support Engineer at Lam, you're the backbone of technical support for field engineers, technicians, and product support personnel. Your expertise is crucial in diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and debugging complex semiconductor equipment. Your swift action in responding to situations is critical in resolving issues and ensuring the satisfaction of Lam's valued customers.
What You'll Do- Process/productivity engineer who will provide technical support to field process engineers, and product support personnel who are troubleshooting Etch chambers for gaps in process capability, chamber matching, defect, and yield failure issues.
- Report process related enhancements and continuous design improvements to engineering group.
- Support first-in-fab customers with process qualification.
- Provide training to Field Service Engineers and provides BKM documents.
- Travel up to 15%.
- Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience and may lead specific projects.
- Work with cross-functional teams to get information and results needed to deliver results.
- Professionally represent the company to the customer. Utilize knowledge of company's product lines and services to keep existing/ potential customers informed when new/ additional needs are identified.
- Actively address any potential issues at the customer site and provide alternative solutions. Drive implementation of new solutions for the customer.
- Minimum of 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 8 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 5 years of experience; or equivalent experience.
- Excellent organizational skills and demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and ability to react to shifting priorities to meet business needs and deadlines.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent people skills with demonstrated ability to work effectively and efficiently with diverse teams, customers, and internal and external partners.
- Etch process engineering experience.
- Experience with Lam's Etch products.
- Semiconductor fab experience is required.
- Collaboration/Matrix environment.

Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. 'On-site Flex' you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week.
'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
