Lumicity has partnered with a growing industrial automation company based in Fremont on their search for an Electrical Engineer to join their team. This is a hands-on role for an Electrical Engineer with experience designing complex electrical systems
This client works with a range of companies from startups to large corporations to assist them with the design and manufacture of automated machinery solutions.
The Responsibilities:- Lead the design and development of electrical systems for companies within the industrial automation or robotics industries
- Create and maintain electrical documentation, schematics and BOM's
- Ensure strict adherence to electrical safety standards and codes
- Provide technical support to customers, manufacturing & commissioning teams
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time
- 4+ years' experience within electrical design, preferably within an automated / robotics industry
- Bachelor’s or higher in Electrical Engineering or other related field
- Strong understanding of electrical compliance and industry standards (NFPA, CE, SEMI etc)
- Knowledge of grounding, shielding, EMC and servo/stepper motor control
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical or Eplan
- Experience working with an array of electrical devices and automation
