Whatyou'll do
- Perform CFD and FEA simulations for thermal, structural, and fluid flow analysis.
- Develop surrogate models and reduced-order models (ROMs) to accelerate engineering design.
- Build digital twin frameworks by integrating simulation, experimental, and operational data.
- Create automated workflows for design optimization and machine learning model development.
- Perform model validation, uncertainty quantification, sensitivity analysis, and parameter calibration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver innovative simulation solutions.
- M.S. or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computational Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Strong experience with ANSYS Fluent, ANSYS Mechanical, STAR-CCM+, Simcenter 3D
, or similar CFD/FEA tools. - Solid background in fluid mechanics, heat transfer, structural mechanics, and numerical methods.
- Experience developing surrogate models, reduced-order models, or simulation acceleration techniques.
- Programming skills in Python and/or MATLAB
. - Experience with CAD platforms such as Siemens NX, Creo/ProE, or Solid Works.
- Physics-informed machine learning
- Gaussian Process Regression or neural networks
- High Performance Computing (HPC)
- Simulation workflow automation
- Semiconductor industry experience
