Sr. SEC Analyst

What To Expect

The Senior SEC Analyst prepares the 10‑Q/K, coordinates quarterly close activities, and assists with various financial analyses. This individual will interface extensively with the general ledger team, the regional accounting teams, the legal department, and both the internal & external auditors. In addition, the Senior SEC Analyst participates in ad‑hoc projects and the implementation of process/system improvements.

• Draft the primary financial statements, including the consolidated balance sheet, income statement, and statement of equity.
• Author the 10‑Q/K footnote disclosures and the associated work papers.
• Ensure quality control over the 10‑Q/K.
• Work on the financial information hosting platform, including review of XBRL tagging, and maintain relationships with the external team.
• Collaborate with other accounting teams and both the internal & external auditors.
• Analyze fluxes at the consolidated level.
• Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes, implement best practices, and enhance the efficiency of SEC reporting workflows.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, or equivalent experience.
• Qualified for CPA license.
• Minimum three years of auditing and/or financial reporting experience (Big 4 accounting firm experience is highly preferred).
• Strong understanding and proficiency of U.S. GAAP.
• Evidence of exceptional ability.
• Ability to work independently with a proactive approach to problem solving and with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, prioritize appropriately, and balance multiple tasks with aggressive timelines simultaneously.

$76,000 – $132,000 annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits. Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
