Job Responsibilities
- Put clients first and exceed their expectations – deliver attentive and friendly service, creating a welcoming environment.
- Manage assigned clients and proactively meet with them, both in person and over the phone, to build lasting relationships, understand financial needs, and tailor product and service recommendations.
- Engage in clear, polite, consultative communication to understand and help clients, building trust – ask questions and listen to understand, anticipate their needs.
- Educate and connect clients to technology solutions such as leveraging the Chase Mobile App, , and ATMs to help them with their banking needs whenever, wherever, and however they want.
- Learn products, services, and procedures quickly and accurately to effectively consult with clients about banking solutions, and collaborate with the team of experts to address specialized financial needs.
- Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements.
- 1+ year of sales experience in retail banking, financial services, or related industries with proven success in establishing new clients, deepening relationships, and delivering results.
- Ability to create memorable experiences for clients – elevate the client experience.
- Excellent communication skills, both in person and over the phone, with proven ability to tailor features and benefits of products and services to clients with differing needs.
- Ability to quickly and effectively resolve client issues with attention to detail, providing a consistent client experience.
- Operate within established risk parameters/tolerances and meet internal/external risk and compliance obligations, including completion of required training.
- High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent.
- The Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6, state registration (including 63 if required), and Life licenses are minimum requirements.
- All unlicensed applicants must obtain their licenses through JPMC's licensing program within 180 days of hire; study materials and support will be provided.
- Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and some evenings.
- College degree or military equivalent.
- Experience adhering to banking policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Base pay is $25.00 - $32.69 per hour (Fremont, CA). Commission-based pay and/or discretionary incentive compensation may be earned, paid in cash and/or forfeitable equity, in recognition of individual achievements.
