Laboratory Support Technician

Contract through 2025

Onsite in Fremont, CA

Key Responsibilities:
  • Culture and differentiate pluripotent stem cells following SOPs and protocols.
  • Prepare media, buffers, and perform chemical weighing and large-scale filtrations.
  • Support day-to-day lab operations, including inventory management and material handling.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical and equipment-related issues.
  • Assist with equipment maintenance and general lab upkeep.
  • Order lab supplies and maintain proper documentation, including lab notebooks.
  • Support cross-functional teams including Process Development and Analytical Services.
  • Participate in facility start-up activities and special projects as needed.
    • Qualifications:
  • Associate’s (AS) degree with 4+ years or Bachelor’s (BS) degree with 2+ years in life sciences.
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture.
  • Knowledge of aseptic techniques is preferred.
  • Experience with SOP writing and lab documentation is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and in teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
