Your Role & Responsibilities As an Occupational Therapist, you will be the architect of our residents' functional recovery:
* ** Comprehensive Evaluations:
** Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop evidence-based treatment plans based on physician orders.
* ** Direct Clinical Care:
** Provide high-quality therapeutic interventions, ensuring strict compliance with established treatment protocols.
* ** Clinical Leadership:
** Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) and provide specialized training to Restorative Aides to ensure continuity of care.
* ** Detailed Documentation:
** Maintain precise clinical records and facilitate clear communication with the broader healthcare team.

** Participate in interdisciplinary care conferences and contribute to facility in-service training sessions.
* ** Discharge Planning:
** Assist with transition planning and provide vital education and training for residents’ families and caregivers.
* ** Equipment Advocacy:
** Assess resident needs and provide recommendations for Durable Medical Equipment (DME) to ensure safety and mobility.

Qualifications
* ** Licensure:
** Must hold a current and valid
** California Occupational Therapy License**.At
