** Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
** to join our dedicated in-house therapy team. We are looking for a professional who is passionate about neuro-rehabilitation and clinical excellence to support our residents on an as-needed (PRN) basis. Your Role & Responsibilities As an SLP at Mission Valley, you will be instrumental in restoring our residents' communication and swallowing functions:
* ** Comprehensive Assessment:
** Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
* ** Dysphagia Management:
** Assess and treat swallowing disorders to ensure resident safety and nutritional health.
* ** Individualized Care:
** Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each resident’s unique cognitive and communication goals.
* ** Interdisciplinary Teamwork:
** Collaborate with nursing, dietary, and other therapy disciplines to provide holistic care.
* ** Documentation:
** Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications
* ** Licensure:
** Must hold a current and valid
** California Speech-Language Pathologist License**.
* ** Clinical Passion:
** A strong interest in geriatric care, stroke recovery, and dementia-related speech therapy.
* ** Flexibility:
** Ability to provide PRN coverage to support the changing needs of our resident population.
* ** Communication:
** Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with residents, families, and staff.
