Gotion is currently looking for a Senior HR Operations Specialist who will play a critical role in ensuring accurate, compliant, and efficient HR operations across the employee lifecycle. This role focuses heavily on payroll administration, HR systems, and operational execution
, and partners closely with HR leadership, Finance, and external HRIS vendors.
This is a hands-on role requiring strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesHR Operations & Employee Lifecycle
- Manage end-to-end HR operational processes including onboarding, offboarding, employee data changes, and personnel records maintenance.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of HRIS data, employee files, and internal trackers.
- Serve as a key point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR operations, payroll, and benefits.
- Own or support bi-weekly payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution.
- Partner with team members and external payroll vendors to resolve payroll discrepancies, audits, and reporting needs.
- Support benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and employee communications.
- Ensure HR operations comply with applicable federal, state/provincial, and local labor regulations.
- Support internal audits, reporting, and documentation requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, documentation, and operational efficiency.
- Partner with HR leadership on operational execution of compensation changes, bonuses, and policy updates.
- Collaborate with global HR teams as needed to support cross-border or bilingual employee populations.
- Provide operational support for special HR projects and peak workload periods.
- 5+ years of experience in HR Operations, HR Administration, or a related role.
- Hands-on payroll experience (U.S. payroll required; multi-state experience strongly preferred)
- Strong knowledge of HR operational processes and employee lifecycle management
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience working with Tri Net and payroll systems a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Experience supporting a fast-growing or international organization
- Familiarity with benefits administration and vendor management
- Experience partnering closely with Finance and external service providers
- Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese and English
