The impact you'll make Joining the US HR Services team is an exciting opportunity to be involved in contributing to the evolution of the Shared Services model at Lam, helping the team research AI opportunities to support our employee and manager populations, assist in critical compliance work related to our Personnel File Management process and be involved in the roll out of an updated Services platform, Service Now.
In this role, you will work directly not only with the Global HR Operations team but cross functionally with team mates in Human Resources, Legal team, and others to support these important initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who is excited to touch multiple areas within HR Operations/ HR Services helping our organization look to the future but also helping us improve our current compliance environment and employee engagement solutions.
This role requires you to be in-office weekly on Tuesdays and Thursday at our Fremont, California site. What you'll learn Influencing skills in a cross functional, complex corporate environment. State and Federal compliance requirements and their importance and impact to employees and managers. Project Management skills implementing a global Service Delivery tool. Who you'll do Seek and define use cases to leverage AI to drive operational excellence and a premium employee experience for HR processes and employee/manager self-service (Tier 0 support).
Lead and contribute to the globalization of Lam's Document Management Solution by becoming familiar with Personnel File statutory requirements and audit our current structure and content in our Online Document Repository. Identify potential gaps in our Personnel Files and put together prioritized recommendations on how to close those gaps, in preparation to move to a new Global Document Management solution.
Partner with the HR Information and HR Services team in the implementation of an upgraded Service Now platform, assisting in putting a governance model in place, building a Knowledge Base and connecting back to a new Global Document Management solution. Preferred qualifications Currently pursing a Bachelor or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communication, Artificial Intelligence and Data Sciences or a related field.
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism. Positive attitude, curiosity, and willingness to grow in the HR field.
