We are seeking an Engineering Coordinator / Test Floor Support Administrator to serve as the primary point of contact between engineers and test floor operations. This role combines administrative coordination with hands‑on floor support, ensuring the right technician or equipment engineer is dispatched quickly to resolve test‑related issues. The ideal candidate has prior experience as a test technician or test operator and understands test floor workflows, equipment, and common failure modes.

This role is critical to keeping engineering support responsive, organized, and efficient.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the first point of contact for engineers requesting support.
  • Monitor incoming support tickets and triage issues based on urgency and type.
  • Dispatch the appropriate technician or equipment engineer to address issues efficiently.
  • Be physically present on the test floor to support walk‑up requests from engineers.
  • Track issues, actions, and outcomes using Excel and ticketing systems.
  • Perform basic data entry and reporting to identify recurring issues and support improvement efforts.
  • Coordinate between engineers, technicians, and equipment teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Help identify bottlenecks or trends on the test floor and escape recurring problems when needed.
  • Support continuous improvement of workflows, documentation, and support processes. Required
Qualifications
  • Prior experience as a Test Technician, Test Operator, or similar hands‑on test floor role.
  • Strong understanding of test floor operations, equipment support flow, and troubleshooting processes.
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced production or lab environment.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with engineers, technicians, and operations teams.
  • Proficiency in Excel (tracking, basic reporting, organizing data).
  • Comfortable handling multiple requests and switching priorities quickly.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in an engineering support, coordinator, dispatcher, or admin role.
  • Monitor incoming tickets in Unity (current system) and eventually Salesforce (transitioning soon).
  • Basic reporting or data analysis experience.
  • Experience working cross‑functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Equipment teams.
