Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Product Security Engineer based in Pune, India. The Senior Product Security Engineer will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and mitigating security risks in products and systems. Responsibilities include leading security assessments, developing secure coding practices, implementing tools to monitor security vulnerabilities, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to integrate security features throughout the software development lifecycle.

The role also involves researching emerging threats, mentoring team members on security principles, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Qualifications
  • Expertise in security assessment, threat modeling, and vulnerability management
  • Proficiency in secure coding practices, penetration testing, and risk analysis methodologies
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols, firewall management, and security incident response
  • Experience with encryption technologies, access control, and authentication systems
  • Familiarity with compliance standards such as GDPR, ISO 27001, and NIST
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to implement scalable security solutions
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across technical, development, and product management teams
  • Preferred qualifications:

    Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, and relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, OSCP, CEH)
