You will be part of Lam Research’s global Finance and Digital Transformation organization, supporting enterprise‑wide financial systems and processes. The team partners closely with Finance, IT, Manufacturing, and Program leadership to deliver scalable, compliant, and future‑ready SAP S/4

HANA Finance solutions across regions and business units.

In this role, you will deliver enterprise‑level impact by shaping how Lam designs, governs, and executes financial processes during large‑scale SAP ECC to SAP S/4

HANA transformations. You will influence finance architecture decisions, define future‑state designs, and ensure business continuity, compliance, and financial integrity across global operations.

• Lead and own SAP Finance & Controlling solution design for ECC to S/4
  
  HANA transformations, operating independently on complex, high‑impact initiatives.
• Drive end‑to‑end SAP S/4
  
  HANA migration strategy for FICO, including system conversion, process redesign, and new implementations. Conduct in-depth analysis and redesign of complex business processes.
• Define future‑state finance architectures leveraging S/4
  
  HANA capabilities such as Universal Journal, New Asset Accounting, and embedded analytics.
• Compliance and
  
  Risk Management:
  
  Partner with the internal audit, Cybersecurity, and other IT teams to ensure processes and technologies adhere to regulatory requirements, financial reporting standards, and internal controls, maintaining high levels of data integrity.
• System Optimization:
  Analyze the effectiveness of existing systems, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop strategies to leverage technology for operational efficiency.
• Assisting with various state and local indirect tax consulting projects including sales & use and excise tax over payment reviews, tax implications of sales and purchase transactions, audit defense services, nexus planning, and voluntary disclosures.
• Must have proficiency in implementing/supporting tax technology products, such as Vertex, Corp Tax and other similar tax software.

• Design, configure, and optimize SAP FICO modules with a strong focus on Product Costing (CO‑PC) and Cost Object Controlling (CO‑OM) in manufacturing environments.
• Serve as the functional authority for cross‑module integrations between FICO, SD, MM, and PP.
• Partner with Global partners in Europe, India and US.
• Guide integration with external and adjacent systems including FP&A platforms, SAP RAR, tax engines, and financial close tools.
• Own financial data migration strategy and execution, ensuring accuracy, reconciliation, auditability, and compliance.
• Partner with senior Finance and IT leaders to translate business strategy into scalable system designs.
• Lead testing strategy, issue resolution, and go‑live readiness for enterprise finance processes.
• Plan, direct, and coordinate team activities, mentoring and developing team members to achieve project objectives.

We are looking for a recognized SAP Finance subject‑matter expert who operates with minimal supervision, exercises independent judgment, and influences decisions across organizational boundaries. The ideal candidate is a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders and thrives in complex, global environments.

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive SAP FICO experience across ECC and SAP S/4
  
  HANA environments.
• Deep expertise in manufacturing finance, product costing, External Tax Engine (Vertex) and controlling processes.
• Proven experience designing and governing cross‑module SAP solutions at enterprise scale.
• Strong ability to influence senior business and IT stakeholders.

• SAP certification in FICO and/or SAP S/4
  
  HANA.
• Experience leading global SAP rollouts or multi‑region implementations.
• Experience with SAP Fiori.
• Knowledge of SAP integration and data migration tools.
• Knowledge of cloud-based and on‑premises integration technologies (e.g., SAP Cloud Platform Integration, SAP Data Services, Migration Cockpit).
