Overview

IT Technician position at Quanta Manufacturing’s Fremont headquarters. Responsible for providing Tier 1/Tier 2 help desk support in a fast‑paced corporate environment.

Location & Schedule

Fremont, CA – 1st shift, Monday to Friday. Temp to Hire with pay $24–$28/hr.

Responsibilities
  • Provide Tier 1 / Tier 2 Help Desk support in a corporate environment
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues across Windows, macOS, and Linux systems
  • Manage and resolve tickets using a Service Desk ticketing system (Service Now, Jira, Zendesk, etc.)
  • Support Microsoft 365, Teams, and SaaS applications
  • Perform user account management (Active Directory, password resets, access requests)
  • Assist with device imaging, deployment, onboarding/offboarding
  • Troubleshoot printers, VoIP systems, AV/conference room technology, and peripherals
  • Provide remote and onsite support using tools such as RDP, Team Viewer, etc.
  • Document troubleshooting steps and contribute to knowledge base articles
  • Collaborate with IT infrastructure and engineering teams
Requirements
  • 3–4+ years of strong Help Desk / Service Desk experience in a corporate environment
  • Experience supporting Windows and macOS systems (Linux is a plus)
  • Hands‑on experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and Microsoft 365
  • Experience using ticketing systems (Service Now, Jira, Zendesk, etc.)
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, printers, and networking issues
  • Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, VPN, and basic networking concepts
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tickets and prioritize effectively
