The impact you’ll makeA Network Architect is responsible for designing, planning, and evolving the organization’s network infrastructure to ensure it is secure, scalable, resilient, and aligned with business objectives. This role focuses on developing high‑level architectural blueprints, establishing network standards, and guiding the implementation of complex network solutions across data centers, cloud environments, and enterprise sites. The Network Architect works closely with Business, cybersecurity, cloud, and infrastructure teams to define long‑term network strategy while ensuring day‑to‑day stability and performance.
They evaluate emerging technologies, drive modernization initiatives, and provide technical leadership to ensure the network meets current and future operational demands.
Develop network architecture aligned with business goals; set standards for LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, VPN, Cloud, and Data Center. Assess current infrastructure; recommend modernization, scalability, and optimization.
Create multi-year roadmaps for growth, resilience, and security. Evaluate emerging technologies (SDN, ZTNA, SASE, automation) for adoption.
Produce HLD/LLD documents for topology, routing, security, and integration. Architect solutions for campuses, branches, data centers, and hybrid/cloud environments.
Routing, Switching & SecurityDesign scalable routing (BGP, EIGRP, EVPN/VXLAN) integrated with security (firewalls, segmentation, VPN, NAC, ZTNA). Define global addressing, routing policies, and traffic engineering.
Performance & ResilienceEnsure high availability, redundancy, failover, and performance optimization. Define capacity planning for bandwidth, throughput, and resiliency.
Security & ComplianceCollaborate with cybersecurity teams on secure architecture (micro‑segmentation, encryption). Maintain compliance (ISO 27001) and enforce governance frameworks.
Provide technical leadership; guide engineers across projects. Partner with application, cloud, security, and infrastructure teams. Participate in vendor evaluation and solution comparisons.
