The impact you’ll makeLam Research is seeking an Information Security Engineer to support the engineering, implementation, and ongoing operation of enterprise security platforms. This role is responsible for maintaining and enhancing security tools to strengthen the organization s detection, prevention, and response capabilities. The engineer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Security Operations, Infrastructure, and IT, to ensure security solutions are effectively deployed, properly configured, and aligned with organizational security standards and best practices.
What you’ll do- Support the engineering, implementation, and lifecycle management of assigned security tools and platforms;
Silverfort experience is preferred. - Maintain and optimize tool configurations in alignment with security standards and industry best practices.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of detection, prevention, and response capabilities.
- Assist in identifying and remediating configuration gaps, coverage issues, and security findings.
- Participate in security reviews and provide input on architecture and design decisions.
- Support the development of operational metrics and reporting to measure tool effectiveness and overall security posture.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Security Operations (SOC), IT, Cloud, and Infrastructure, to drive alignment and integration.
- Document processes, configurations, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, with a minimum of 8 years of related experience; 6 years with a Master s degree; 3 years with a PhD; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2–4 years of experience in an Information Security or IT Engineering role.
- Foundational experience in Information Security Engineering and security tools/platforms.
- Hands-on experience with one or more security domains, including endpoint security, identity security, network security, cloud security, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Endpoint Privilege Management (EPM),
- Web Application Firewalls (WAF), email security, or Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM).
- Experience with one or more of the following security tools:
Microsoft Defender for Identity (MDI), - Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE), Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Purview, Netskope, Palo Alto Networks solutions, Imperva, Microsoft Intune, Perception Point (Forti Mail), or Security Copilot.
