We're looking for a Lead Databricks Consultant to drive data platform strategy, solution architecture, and presales efforts across enterprise environments. This role blends client-facing solutioning with hands-on architecture and technical leadership, helping organizations modernize data, analytics, and AI platforms using Databricks and cloud technologies.
What You'll Do- Lead client discovery sessions to understand business goals and identify high-value Databricks use cases
- Shape solution vision and design scalable Lakehouse architectures using Databricks (Delta Lake, Unity Catalog)
- Own presales efforts including solution design, proposals, SOWs, estimates, and delivery roadmaps
- Deliver technical presentations, demos, and whiteboarding sessions to business and technical stakeholders
- Guide engineering teams building batch and streaming pipelines with Spark, Python, and SQL
- Define and enforce best practices across CI/CD, data quality, observability, and platform governance
- Drive performance optimization, cost efficiency, and long-term platform adoption
- Collaborate with sales and account teams to expand opportunities and support revenue growth
- Proven experience leading client-facing data or analytics engagements in a consulting environment
- Strong Databricks expertise (Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Workflows/Jobs, Databricks SQL)
- Hands-on skills with Python, PySpark, and SQL for building scalable data pipelines
- Experience with presales or solutioning (discovery sessions, workshops, proposals, demos)
- Solid cloud platform experience (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical architectures
- Experience with data governance, security, and access control frameworks
- Experience leading large-scale data platform modernization or migration initiatives
- Background in consulting, professional services, or technical advisory roles
- Lead high-impact, client-facing data and AI transformation initiatives
- Work alongside sales and technical leaders to shape solutions and influence deals
- Exposure to modern cloud, Databricks, and AI-driven use cases
