Quality Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Lead, Quality Assurance Testing & Evaluation to lead quality assurance initiatives for complex technology and security-focused systems. This role will be responsible for driving test strategy, execution, quality metrics, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure products and features meet the highest standards of performance, reliability, and security.

The ideal candidate combines strong QA leadership experience with hands-on expertise in testing methodologies, automation, physical security technologies, and networked systems.

• Define and execute comprehensive QA strategies aligned with business and technical objectives.
• Establish testing roadmaps, project milestones, quality metrics, and success criteria.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans to maintain quality and delivery timelines.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across QA processes and methodologies.

• Develop, review, and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and validation procedures.
• Lead manual and automated testing activities across products and system integrations.
• Ensure comprehensive test coverage for functional, integration, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with engineering teams to resolve issues.
• Track, report, and present quality metrics to stakeholders.
• Act as the primary QA lead across engineering, product, operations, and stakeholder teams.
• Coordinate testing schedules, deliverables, and resource planning.
• Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Manage changing project requirements while ensuring testing quality and project alignment.

• Ensure QA documentation, test reports, and validation artifacts are complete and audit-ready.
• Support handoff activities and provide training for ongoing operational support teams.
• Maintain testing standards, procedures, and best practices.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience leading Quality Assurance and Testing projects in complex technical environments.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, software testing lifecycle, validation processes, and automation frameworks.
• Experience designing and executing comprehensive test strategies and test plans.
• Excellent project leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Physical Security Systems testing and validation.
• Building Technologies and Integrated Security Platforms.
• Network Security and Infrastructure Testing.
• Experience with:
• CCure
• Sure View
• Relevant certifications in CCure, Genetec, Sure View, or related security technologies are highly preferred.
• Experience with security system integrations, access control, video management systems, and enterprise monitoring platforms.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• A hands-on technical leader who can balance strategic planning with execution.
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive quality-focused decision making.
• Passion for delivering reliable, secure, and high-performing technology solutions.

Pay Range Minimum: $40/hour

Pay Range Maximum: $55/hour
