We are seeking a California-licensed knowledgeable Estate Planning attorney who is enthusiastic to join our firm in Fremont, CA. The ideal candidate will proficiently handle the preparation of estate plans for clients and advise them on the provisions and strategies to meet their desired objectives. This role entails assisting the legal support team as needed and conducting meetings with current and potential estate planning clients.

The Attorney should be capable of simplifying and explaining the complexities of the legal process and steps of the estate plan. If you take pride in assisting people with their Estate Plans, send us your application!

Compensation: $100,000 yearly + bonus, 401k, PTO, Holiday Pay, Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance.

Responsibilities:
  • Client interaction
  • Oversee staff members in signing and notarizing documents
  • Familiarity with Word and Wealth Counsel
  • Comfortable working independently and handling their caseload with the legal support team
  • Review, summarize, and critique existing and/or proposed new estate planning documents
  • Cultivate relationships with the firm’s existing and future clients by maintaining consistent and timely communication
  • Draft & Review Estate Planning documents, Wills, Revocable Living Trusts, Power of Attorney, Health Care Directives
  • Deed Preparation, trust transfer Deeds, and Quitclaim deeds
  • Perform legal research
  • Teamwork with other staff members as necessary
  • Qualifications:
  • CA licensed attorney with previous experience with Estate Planning matters
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are necessary; the position requires extensive professional contact with clients to design effective estate-planning strategies
  • Adaptable to a fast-paced environment, self-motivated, and possess the initiative to complete tasks with minimal supervision
  • Requires exceptional verbal, analytical, communication, drafting, writing, and research skills, with the ability to work both independently and as a team member
