Job Title: Plaintiff Employment Paralegal
Location: San Francisco, CA (REMOTE)
About the job
Our client is a high-performing employment law firm in California and is seeking an experienced
Plaintiff Employment Paralegal to join their growing team.
Responsibilities
- Support plaintiff-side employment matters from intake through resolution
- Assist in building and developing an efficient intake process and case workflows
- Support pre-litigation strategy development with the managing partner and attorneys
- Draft, prepare, and manage legal documents, including complaints, discovery, and correspondence
- Handle cases involving wrongful termination, wage and hour disputes, harassment, retaliation, discrimination, single-plaintiff matters, class actions, and sexual harassment claims
- Coordinate and assist with depositions, mediations, hearings, and settlement preparation
- Maintain and manage case files, deadlines, and calendaring
- Collaborate with leadership to improve systems, workflows, and department structure
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of plaintiff-side employment law experience
- Strong knowledge of California labor laws and employment procedures
- Proven ability to work independently and manage a high-volume caseload
- Experience with case management, discovery, and trial preparation preferred
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset with interest in helping build and scale processes
Salary and Other Compensation
The annual salary for this position is between $80,000 – $115,000, depending on experience, skills, education, and other relevant qualifications.
