Key Responsibilities Inventory Management & Optimization
- Establish, monitor, and continuously adjust min/max inventory levels based on historical usage, seasonal trends, and supplier lead times
- Conduct regular inventory reconciliation to ensure accuracy and availability of critical spares
- Identify, track, and mitigate risks associated with dead stock and slow‑moving inventory
- Define and maintain optimal stock buffers to balance availability and cost efficiency
- Develop and execute strategies to improve overall inventory health and turnover
- Establish and optimize a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to support efficient ordering, tracking, and fulfillment processes
- Leverage WMS capabilities to automate replenishment triggers and streamline inventory workflows
- Ensure data accuracy and system alignment across inventory, procurement, and fulfillment functions
- Coordinate with production and logistics teams to ensure material readiness for scheduled builds, eliminating stock‑out delays
- Manage the kitting process to ensure complete and accurate material packages are delivered to the shop floor on time
- Analyze root causes of shipping delays and implement corrective actions to improve OTD and OTS performance
- Proactively identify risks to production timelines and take preventative actions to maintain continuity
- Collaborate with procurement and Network Investments teams to manage vendor lead times and ensure supplier reliability
- Monitor supply chain disruptions and develop contingency plans, including safety stock adjustments and alternative sourcing strategies
- Evaluate supplier performance metrics (quality, delivery, responsiveness) to ensure alignment with operational requirements
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field - Experience:
3–5 years of experience in material planning, inventory control, or supply chain operations - Technical Proficiency:
Advanced knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) - Strong proficiency in Google Sheets / Excel (e.g., VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) for data analysis, reporting, and forecasting
