The Materials & Inventory Coordinator
is responsible for coordinating domestic and international shipments, processing logistics transactions in Oracle ERP, managing transportation activities, and ensuring timely delivery of products to customers and internal locations.
This role combines shipping coordination, receiving raw materials, kitting, inventory management, and transportation planning.
This role is centered around 70% inventory control activities, and 30% material handling.
The ideal candidate has strong logistics and shipping experience, advanced Oracle ERP skills, a clean driving record, and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Shift: M-F 7:00am to 3:30PM
Work Schedule: This position requires flexibility to work mandatory overtime during peak production periods and critical business cycles.
Responsibilities- Ship/receive/kit/Outside Services Packaging and Oracle transact.
- Inventory Control:
Automate recurring cycle count reporting, - Execute E&O process of aging and scrap
- Execute end of period/quarter close reports.
- Capacity analysis:
Raw material transfer and consolidation. - Execute off-site inventory counts.
- Receive incoming shipments from suppliers and vendors.
- Inspect deliveries for accuracy, completeness, and damages.
- Verify quantities and quality of received items against purchase orders.
- Record and report any discrepancies or damages to appropriate parties.
- Label, sort, and organize received materials for storage or distribution.
- Prepare outgoing shipments for delivery to customers or other facilities.
- Package items securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Generate shipping labels and documentation using shipping software.
- Coordinate with carriers and logistics companies to schedule pickups and deliveries.
- Ensure all shipments are accurately labeled and comply with shipping regulations.
- Load and unload parts or materials from delivery vehicles.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks.
Position Requirements:
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and data analysis experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and ability to work across teams.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to interpret data and translate into actionable insights.
- Participate and/or lead inventory projects.
- 2 or more years of experience in shipping, receiving, inventory, or warehouse operations.
- 2+ years of hands‑on experience using ERP (specifically MRP) & PLM systems;
Oracle, SAP and Agile preferred in a logistics, inventory, shipping, or order management environment. - Prior forklift experience and certification preferred.
- Familiarity with shipping software and inventory management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record‑keeping.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics or supply chain is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects safely weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Sit, stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks (if applicable).
- The primary work environment is in the warehouse, shipping and receiving area which may be noisy, dusty, and exposed to varying temperatures

The pay range for this position is $22.26 - $37.84 per hour, non-exempt.
