Company OverviewA global semiconductor automation equipment manufacturer is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to support procurement, material planning, inventory, supplier management, and logistics for semiconductor capital equipment operations.
Position SummaryThis position ensures materials are available to meet customer and production requirements. Responsibilities span MRP/material planning, purchasing, supplier management, inventory control, BOM maintenance, cost analysis, shipping/logistics, and ERP administration. The role serves as a key supply chain contact for suppliers and overseas teams in Japan, Vietnam, and China.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, forecast, and procure components/materials based on production and sales demand.
- Run MRP daily; analyze inventory requirements and maintain appropriate stock levels.
- Create/manage purchase orders, purchase requests, part numbers, BOMs, and inventory data.
- Serve as a primary contact for suppliers, subcontractors, and overseas affiliates.
- Negotiate pricing, review bids/contracts, analyze costs, and support cost-reduction initiatives.
- Monitor supplier performance, lead times, quality documentation, and delivery schedules.
- Process DMRs and coordinate corrective actions with QC, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Maintain approved vendor lists and procurement records.
- Support customer invoicing and month-end purchasing/inventory reporting.
- Administer the MRP/ERP system, including accounts, users, access rights, and updates.
- Coordinate shipping/receiving, carriers, delivery methods, and expedited shipments.
- Provide material cost and procurement status to Sales, Engineering, Production, and Field Service.
Required:
- Professional Japanese and English proficiency.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Strong Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook skills.
- Strong organizational, analytical, negotiation, and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently.
- Ability to collaborate professionally with engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, customers, and global teams.
- 1+ year of supply chain experience.
- 1+ year of semiconductor capital equipment industry experience.
- MRP/ERP experience, preferably pc/MRP.
- Procurement, material planning, inventory, or supplier management experience.
- Shipping, receiving, or logistics experience.
- Chinese and/or Vietnamese language ability.
