The Facilities Services Manager will partner with department and company leadership to oversee facilities infrastructure and equipment supporting R&D cleanroom operations, labs, and office areas across a multi-building campus. This role provides leadership to the facilities team, including multiple outsourced service providers.
The Impact You’ll MakeManages the design, planning, construction and maintenance of equipment, machinery, buildings, and other facilities. Plans, budgets, and schedules facility modifications, including estimates on equipment, labor, materials and other related costs. Designs and develops organizational policies relevant to the facilities department. Oversees the coordination of building space allocation and layout, communication services and facilities expansion. May have responsibility for establishing and overseeing health and safety standards.
Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
Key responsibilities include ensuring quality oversight and direction of operational activities such as building and equipment maintenance and cleanroom operations. Demonstrate the ability to analyze and resolve complex, ambiguous problems with a focus on timely solutions. Collaboration with GWS Engineering and Lab Operations teams is essential for planning equipment maintenance, upgrades, and replacements.
Facilities Services Manager Will Lead The Following Programs- Mechanical Workgroup
- Energy Efficiency, Sustainability and Green Teams
- Site Incident Prevention Planning (SIPP)
- Safety Incident Reviews and Initiatives
- Daily Operations Meetings
- Business Continuity Planning
- ISO 9001 and 14001 Programs and Audits
- FM Global Relationship Management
- Capital Planning and Project Management
- Ensure cleanroom conditions meet ISO standards for temperature, humidity, and particulate levels.
- Participate in design reviews for facilities infrastructure and construction projects, ensuring operational support and accessibility post‑completion.
- Identify and document opportunities to reduce operating costs, enhance system integrity, and improve resiliency and uptime.
- Manage quarterly and annual budgeting processes, including forecasting and accruals.
- Oversee soft services including janitorial, copy center, mailroom, landscaping, cleanroom supplies, and garments.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent with 4-6 years of supervisory experience.
- Minimum of 10 years in Facilities Maintenance and Operations in a semiconductory environment.
- Proven ability to manage complex facilities infrastructure:
- Chilled Water, Cooling Towers, Process Cooling Water
- Compressed Dry Air and Process Vacuum
- Boilers and Process Heating Waters
- Ultra‑Pure Water
- Electrical Systems
- Cleanroom operations experience preferred; R&D lab support experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS), PLC‑based controls, and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage internal customers and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Tririga, Bluebeam, and SAP.
