Senior Project Manager
AMPAM is the leading design-build Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) contractor serving large-scale multifamily and commercial projects across California. With 1,500 employees across multiple business units, we are committed to delivering quality, safety, and excellence in every project.
The Senior Project Manager (SPM) is a key leadership role responsible for managing large, complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing construction projects and/or multiple concurrent projects. This position provides strategic direction, ensures profitability, and drives client satisfaction through proactive leadership, risk mitigation, and operational excellence. The Senior Project Manager acts as the primary lead on projects with significant complexity or high revenue value while mentoring and developing project teams.

Qualifications:
- 8–12+ years of progressive experience in MEP construction project management
- Proven success delivering large-scale or complex projects ($10M+ in MEP scope)
- Demonstrated P&L responsibility and strong financial acumen
- Expert-level understanding of MEP systems, building codes, construction sequencing, and subcontractor coordination
- Strong leadership, negotiation, problem-solving, and client relationship skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Procore, Bluebeam, Spectrum and/or other construction management software
Preferred experience:
- PMP, PE, DBIA, or CCM certification
- Experience in design-build, IPD, or alternative delivery projects
