Position: Assistant Community Manager (Oroysom Village)

Oroysom Village Assistant Community Manager

The Property Management team is responsible for operating and maintaining our beautiful communities, but beyond that, they are relationship builders and the heart and soul of Mid Pen. Property Management works closely with our residents, our community partners, and their fellow Mid Penners, including close collaboration with our Resident Services team.

As the Assistant Community Manager, you will report to the Community Manager. You will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of the property, including key areas such as fiscal management, compliance, facilities, risk management, and resident relations.

Responsibilities
  • Schedule income verification appointments, prepare and process lease agreements, and maintain the housing wait list
  • Assist in completion of re-certifications, welfare exemption documents, Management and Occupancy (MOR) and Tax Credit Allocation Committee (TCAC) reviews
  • Issue notices, schedule vacancies, prepare, and monitor turnover forms
  • Assist in the collection of rents, completion of security deposits, log petty cash usage and preparation of bank deposits
  • Inspect property and identify maintenance and security issues
  • Support working relationships with local law enforcement and emergency agencies
  • Coordinate maintenance inspections with facilities staff and ensure work orders are processed in a timely manner
  • Maintain resident and property files without compromising confidential information
  • Communicate procedures regarding emergency preparedness to residents and coordinate logistics for resident meetings
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Proficient in MS Office and/or Real Page software.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service with measurable outcomes.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Committed to the mission and values of Mid Pen Services and Mid Pen Housing.
  • This role primarily involves desk-based computer work with frequent sitting. Occasional physical activity includes standing, walking, reaching overhead, filing, and lifting or moving items up to 15 pounds. Rarely, the position may require bending, squatting, or kneeling.
Education and Experience
  • High School diploma or GED and one year of residential property management, customer service, or administrative experience, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Pay Range

$21.15 - $23.80 Hourly – Pay based on applicable experience and qualifications

Bilingual

Bilingual in English and Mandarin preferred
