Electro-Mechanical Assembler (Mechanical Assembler) (Fremont, CA)

At Elma Electronic, we design and manufacture high-performance electronic systems that support critical applications across industries such as defense, aerospace, and industrial technology. We are seeking a skilled Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join our team in Fremont, CA as we prepare for upcoming production ramp‑up and key program implementation. This is an onsite role in Fremont, CA.

• Assemble mechanical and electro‑mechanical components, including panels, chassis, enclosures, and cabinets
• Fit and align parts to ensure proper mechanical function and performance
• Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices to complete assemblies
• Install interconnect wiring and assemblies into enclosures as needed
• Perform testing and calibration of assemblies to meet product specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area
• Meet production schedules and quality standards

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an electro‑mechanical or manufacturing environment
• Ability to use standard assembly tools and measurement equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to read and follow technical documents and drawings
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, hands‑on production environment

• Frequent standing and walking throughout the shift
• Regular lifting (up to 50 lbs) and handling of materials
• Use of tools and equipment requiring manual dexterity and precision

• Hourly Rate: $20.00 – $28.00 per hour
