The Sanmina Fremont facility is a full-service enclosure systems solution manufacturing plant. Located in California's Silicon Valley, this facility produces low-to-mid volume New Product Introduction (NPI) runs to full-scale volume. The Fremont facility offers everything from small piece parts to fully integrated and tested systems. In addition, this location offers in-house painting capabilities and flexible logistics solutions in distribution, inventory management and hubbing, as well as repair services.
Job Purpose:
Performs a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly tasks in support of developmental requirements in pre-production projects. Works from rough schematics, blueprints and oral instructions to construct developmental assemblies, sub-assemblies and components.
Nature of Duties/ Responsibilities:
* Must have the ability to perform a wide variety of mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly operations according to verbal or written instructions, or by following drawings or diagrams.
* Must be able to operate hand tools, power tools and material handling equipment as needed
* Initiates process improvements of assigned working area.
Education & Experience:
* Requires a minimum of 1- 2 years related experience of production and technical knowledge.
* High school diploma and college courses preferred.
* Must be able to lift and push up to 20 pounds
* Able to stand all day
* Able to communicate in English
* Able to use hand tools such as a Electric drivers
* Able to work 40+ a week
* Ability to multitask and prioritize workload to meet strict deadlines under supervision
* Read and understand prints and drawings.
This position is day shift. There will be a short timeframe that this position will be asked to work swing shift for a few weeks eventually returning to day shift.
This is an ITAR facility and applicants must be a US Citizen or a lawful permanent resident.

Salary Range (annual): $41,600 - $49,920 ($20.00 - $24.00 per hour) .
