Job Overview
Operations Technical Trainee Manager at HYVE Solutions is responsible for leading and managing a team of operators to build quality products, drive continuous improvement plans and resolve technical issues quickly in a fast‑paced environment.
Responsibilities- Manage daily work functions to ensure the achievement of daily business goals.
- Coordinate internal and external training and coach manufacturing operators to achieve desired performance and adhere to operating standards.
- Ensure compliance with safety and professional standards within the facility and maintain a high level of quality and a safe working environment in accordance with ISO 9001 and 14001 standards.
- Produce server/rack products in accordance with the provided specifications, including quality and quantity.
- Supervise daily work of all staff, assisting in problem solving to achieve daily/weekly KPIs, including new product transfers and launches.
- Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) such as product line run rates and first pass yield, identifying inefficiencies and taking corrective actions using Lean manufacturing tools and Kaizen events.
- Implement and maintain 5S, QRQC (Quick Response Quality Control) and LPA (Layered Process Audit) programs.
- Work with Manufacturing Engineering to improve and update MPIs, tools, fixtures and overall process.
- Measure, track and improve OLE (Overall Labor Effectiveness).
- Collaborate with MFG PM, Warehouse, PE/QE and Facility to ensure optimal efficiency, remove obstacles and eliminate unnecessary downtime to achieve production goals.
- Maintain communication between employees and senior management to ensure procedures and policies are understood and handovers between shifts are effective.
- Review employee performance, recognize contributions and develop career growth plans.
- Support opening and closing of manufacturing buildings during shift start/end.
- Be on time to set up work schedules and support weekend work as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s or 4‑year college degree in an engineering related field preferred, or an associate’s degree with at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Working knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
- Ability to work and understand engineering instructions and specs.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills in written and spoken English.
- Strong work ethic, detail‑oriented, and proven communication skills.
Salary Range: $75,000K
