Duration: 6+ Months (Possible extension)
Pay Rate: $35/hr - $41.37/hr on W2

Manufacturing Technician –
  • As a manufacturing technician, you will be part of a team responsible for the assembly and testing of our L5 ground up vehicles.
  • You will support both the build, diagnostics and testing of our vehicle pre-production vehicles and subassemblies.
  • Being comfortable with mechanical and electrical systems are a must. There will be regular use of hand, power and diagnostics tools.
  • The role also supports bring-up activities of the vehicles which require use of your debug and diagnostic skills of electrical circuits.
Responsibilities
  • Work closely with engineers and other technicians on building, diagnosing, and testing the vehicles
  • Complete daily tasks to ensure on-time completion of project
  • Provide feedback to necessary team members to assist in future development
  • Regularly organize and maintain build area
  • Work within all Environmental Health and Safety guidelines
  • Identify areas of improvement of quality, efficiency, and safety
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with 2 to 4 yrs of experience working as a technician in an manufacturing environment
  • Experience with basic hand and power tools
  • Experience with diagnostic tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Read electrical schematics
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables
Automotive/OEM experience is a plus (specifically in EOL/diagnostics/repair)

Day 1 Requirement:
Safety Shoes - Composite Toe & Electrostatic Dissipative (ESD)
  • All safety shoes listed below must meet the following requirement:
    Safety Shoes must conform with ASTM F 2412 (Standard Test Methods for Foot Protection) and ASTM F 2413 (Standard Specification Performance Requirements for Foot Protection)
