Our client, a leading organization in the electronics manufacturing industry, is seeking an Automated Optical Inspection Operator to join their team. As an Automated Optical Inspection Operator, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

What’s

the Job?
  • Perform inspection of product run through Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) equipment during manufacturing.
  • Adhere to all Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) requirements and Board Handling procedures.
  • Handle Moisture Sensitive Devices (MSD) according to component moisture sensitivity levels (MSL).
  • Verify product compliance to workmanship standards as documented in work instructions.
  • Communicate defects not captured by equipment to responsible personnel for process improvement.
What’s Needed?
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to utilize electronic manufacturing systems (e.g., OCuity).
  • Knowledge of Automated Optical Inspection equipment and procedures.
  • Pass IPC-DVD-64C Component Identification and IPC-A-610 Modules 1, 2, 4, 5, 7 & 8 workmanship standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to support routine, repetitive tasks.
