Vishay Applied Thin Film Products is located in Fremont, CA.

• Clean substrates prior to the metal deposition.
• Run CPA sputter systems for metal deposition.
• Learn to change the metal targets in CPA sputter machines.
• Maintain material traceability from start to end of each process.
• Help Metal tech to keep the area clean.
• Report all non-conformances to management.
• Identify production inefficiencies and suggest potential improvements to product or processes.
• Crosstrain in other areas of responsibilities within the Metal/Laser group.
• Adhere to the code of safe practices in the use of machines, equipment, and materials.
• May be required to perform other duties.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in semiconductor processing.
• Clean room experience desired.
• Familiar with vacuum systems and process gases as well as chemical cleaning is desired.
• Proficient in English. Must have good English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong interpersonal skills and team orientation, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of people.
• Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
• Able to prioritize job flows, schedule and manage time efficiently.
• Strong problem solving and multi-tasking abilities required.
• Well organized and able to work independently.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment with constant change.
• Be able to lift minimum 50 pounds.

Work is performed primarily in a lab environment; adheres to required safety and dress standards to prevent exposure to hazardous materials. The employee is regularly required to communicate, talk, and listen. May be required to sit, stand, walk for periods of time; bend, stoop, and twist; closely observe items through a microscope, and perform various repetitive fine grasping motions; use a variety of small hand tools to perform various operations;

operate a computer and enter information using a keyboard, operate a telephone, and other office equipment for an extended period of time. Specific vision abilities include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Some physical strength and stamina are required for regular cleaning duties. May be exposed to hot/cold conditions, high-volume noise, exposure to stored energy hazards (electricity, compressed gases, etc.),

and/or hazardous materials such as chemicals or particulate matter.

May be requested to work overtime and weekends to suit operational needs.
