• Skilled in GTAW welding techniques to assemble containers made from low carbon steel or stainless steel; welds will be helium leak tested before exposure to high vacuum and high-pressure processes.
• Highly proficient using tools such as metal shear, band saw, cut‑off saw, leak detector, manual mill, grinders, sanding equipment and general shop tools.
• Advises and trains junior welders in the safe use of these tools.
• Fabricates tooling and equipment as needed for production support and development of new processes.
• Identifies equipment needed for the welding area and maintains safe stock levels of consumables.
• Provides mechanical maintenance and repair of equipment as needed to support production.
• Maintains vacuum system for bake‑out ovens.
• Maintains shop cleanliness by mopping, dusting, dumping trash, and general housekeeping.
• Requires the ability to lift 50 lbs.

Schedule:

Monday – Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Welding skill check, background check, and drug test will be performed before hiring. Local candidate within 30 minutes commuting distance is welcome to apply.
