Machine Set‑Up & Operator
This full‑time position will offer 40 hours per week, Monday‑Friday, first shift: 7:00am‑3:30pm.
Typical Duties- Set‑up and operate HAAS CNC Vertical Mills
- Prepare raw materials to be loaded into machines
- Prepare tools from set up sheet
- Clean and maintain equipment and work area as needed
- Use of manual machines on occasion (mill & lathe)
- 3+ years similar experience
- Capable of reading and understanding drawings and tolerances
- Knowledge of G‑code
- Must have experience with FANUC control equipment and typical machinist tools (micrometers, calipers, indicators, deburring tools, etc.)
- Willing to comply with all quality policies, specifications, regulations and instructions
- Very good communication in English (spoken and written)
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time, occasionally lifting up to 50lbs
- High school diploma or equivalent, certificate in a trade school or community college machining program is a plus

BART Headquarters – Fremont, CA

Typical Duties- Review drawing package to ensure all required materials are provided
- Notify manager of any missing raw materials or drawing concerns
- Measure, cut, machine, drill, tap, level, etc. per drawing requirements
- Projects vary in size and complexity, and typically involve more than one Mechanical Technician
- Review completed projects to confirm the final product meets all requirements of the "Quality Checklist" and request manager sign‑off
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to read, comprehend, and build to engineered drawings
- Experience in electromechanical assembly or related manufacturing
- Expertise operating hand tools (drills, tape measurers (mm), chalk lines, hammers) and various equipment (forklift, band saw, chop saw, etc.)
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Very good knowledge of English (spoken and written)
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time, occasionally lifting up to 50lbs
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License and ability to travel on occasion (with notice, not frequent or typical)
This full‑time position will offer 40 hours per week, Monday‑Friday, first shift: 7:00am‑3:30pm.
Typical Duties- Set‑up welding machine (amperage, voltage, speeds, and pulse)
- Layout job according to best shop practice
- Clean up and prepare material for welding
- Mig weld per specified drawings
- Grind welds, repair any imperfections, and clean up product
- Request Quality Manager sign‑off
- Maintain clean and safe working environment
- Fabrication background
- Ability to mig weld 1/8" – 1 ¼" steel
- Ability to safely and accurately operate vertical band saw, grinders/cutting wheels, calipers, mm tape measurer, etc.
- Familiarity with blueprints & weld symbols
- Familiarity with forklift and overhead crane
- Must be able to work overtime as needed
- Physical ability to sit, stand, and/or change resting positions frequently over an extended period of time
