Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Assembly Technician for a contract opportunity in Fremont, CA. This role is ideal for a hands‑on manufacturing professional who enjoys building high‑quality assemblies, following detailed work instructions, and contributing to daily production goals in a fast‑paced operations environment. The Assembly Technician will support custom assembly services by working closely with production planning, purchasing, warehouse, and operations teams to build, package, and prepare assemblies that meet customer specifications.

- Build custom assemblies according to approved work instructions, certification guidelines, and customer specifications.
- Support daily production goals by completing assigned assemblies accurately and on schedule.
- Work with production planners, buyers, estimators, and warehouse associates to support packing, shipping, and order fulfillment.
- Follow standard work procedures, quality requirements, and lean manufacturing practices to improve safety, accuracy, and productivity.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient production area through assigned housekeeping duties.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and assist with production scheduling or job instruction packets as needed.
- Pay range: $25.00 to $27.00 per hour.
