The Sanmina Fremont facility is a full-service enclosure systems solution manufacturing plant. Located in California's Silicon Valley, this facility produces low-to-mid volume New Product Introduction (NPI) runs to full-scale volume. The Fremont facility offers everything from small piece parts to fully integrated and tested systems. In addition, this location offers in-house painting capabilities and flexible logistics solutions in distribution, inventory management and hubbing, as well as repair services.
Job Purpose
A Shipping/Packaging Material Handler ensures the efficient movement, safe packaging, and accurate documentation of goods in a warehouse or facility . They are responsible for processing shipments, loading/unloading trucks, operating warehouse equipment, and maintaining tight inventory control to prevent damage and delays.
Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:
* Performs the physical and administrative tasks involved in shipping, packaging, storing and distributing of materials and Finished Goods,
* Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items.
* Lifts heavy items and operate a forklift (standing up, sitting down rider, and hand pallet jack).
* Examines stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines.
* Assist with and perform other material handling duties.
* Follows all company and facility policies including quality, safety, conduct and attendance.
Education and Experience:
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Must be able to read and understand English
* 2-4 years of Warehouse/Shipping/Receiving experience preferred (i.e., pulling parts, transactions, etc.)
* Crating packaging experience preferred
* Oracle experience preferred will need to be able to do transactions
* Forklift certified or forklift experience
* Fed Ex, UPS, International shipments, and commercial invoices experience preferred
* Warehouse knowledge (i.e., pulling parts, transactions, etc.)
* Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
This is an ITAR facility and applicants must be a US Citizen or a lawful permanent resident.

Salary Range (annual): $49,920 - $58,240 ($24.00 - $28.00 per hour)
