Overview

Maintenance Technician (Gas/chemical) – Fremont, CA (Onsite). Pay rate: competitive;

Position supports site gas and/or chemical equipment in a manufacturing environment.

• Support site gas and/or chemical equipment
• Perform cylinder and drum changes on all chemical and gas systems
• Perform complex troubleshooting and problem resolution
• Ensure compliance with operation and maintenance procedures, safety, and flawless execution
• Support over pieces of distribution equipment across various types and vendors
• Drive a zero safety or quality incident culture
• Participate in Basic Safety Process, quality management, preventive maintenance, and training
• Support installation, decommissioning, troubleshooting, and repair of gas systems, precursor delivery systems, and bulk chemical distribution systems

• Comprehensive OJT and technical training and qualification programs

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• + years of experience as a maintenance or equipment technician

• Experience with chemical and gas distribution equipment
• Navy Nuclear power school or Military mechanic trained

• Experience with chemicals and/or gas in a manufacturing environment (MANDATORY)
• Random drug testing (including THC)

• Completed onboarding form and signed NDA
• Physical including Qualitative Fit Test (submit results for clearance)
• Respirator Fit Test during orientation
• All workers start on Mondays
