Computer Systems Engineer Responsibilities

• Work with customers to determine new hardware requirements or customize an OEM solution; review and analyze existing systems and upgrade to new platforms;
• Design and implement the physical infrastructure for data center on power, cooling, power distribution, rack system, and monitoring software;
• Provide consulting and advisory for network and security solutions, mainly on switch and firewall;
• Maintain awareness of rapidly changing technology and increase knowledge;
• Communicate closely with customers, vendors and employees to lead and implement projects.

• Bachelor’s degree majoring in Computer Science, Information Technology or related area.
• 5 years of experience in a related role such as Systems Analyst.
• 5 years of experience in information technology or system solutions.

• Identifying new markets and business opportunities and arranging meetings with potential customers
• Visiting potential customers for new business and developing and maintaining relationships
• Making accurate cost calculations to provide customers with quotations
• Negotiating the terms of an agreement with a view to closing sales
• Attending trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations to represent the employing organization
• Advising on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions.

• Completed a BA/BS degree or equivalent
