Electronics Rework Operator (JN - Fremont, California
Location: Fremont, CA 94539
Schedule: Full-Time | 1st Shift
Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour (Depending on Experience)
We are hiring immediately for an Electronics Rework Technician to support PCBA production and RMA repair in a fast‑paced electronics manufacturing environment.
This role focuses on BGA and SMT rework, including component removal, replacement, re‑soldering, and inspection. Candidates with hands‑on electronics rework or SMT/BGA experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
What You’ll Do- Perform BGA and PCBA rework on production and RMA assemblies
- Remove and replace BGA, QFN, LGA, and other SMT components
- Operate and support BGA/PCBA rework stations (SRT, Air Vac, or similar)
- Conduct visual, microscope, and X‑ray inspections after rework
- Document rework activity in the Manufacturing Execution System (MES)
- Request replacement parts from stockroom using approved processes
- Follow ESD, safety, and quality standards at all times
- Assist with additional rework or production tasks as needed
- Hands‑on experience with BGA or SMT rework in an electronics manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with soldering, solder paste, flux, and reflow processes
- Experience using rework or inspection equipment (training provided if needed)
- Understanding of ESD practices and quality procedures
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow work instructions
- High school diploma or equivalent industry experience
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
