The hourly rate for this position is expected to be between $25.00 - $27.00 per hour, depending on geographic location, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Job Summary:

Test Technician is responsible for supporting production test operators and test/manufacturing engineers in a fast-paced environment of building servers and racks. Support New Product Introduction (NPI), work closely with the corporate R&D, Test Development, and Manufacturing teams to analyze test data, troubleshoot, and identify product defects, verify fixes, and document test results. Develop/modify test script and processes to improve yields, reduce failures, and improve efficiency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Experience with network technologies and protocols, Switches, and routers.
  • Experience in writing Linux and Python scripts to test computer hardware and verify hardware configurations.
  • Experience with Intel X86 architecture, PXE boot process, OS download, and CTO process.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to multitask and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Technical support for the test engineer and debug the base test failure.
  • Follow the instructions from the Engineer team for running automated test scripts, validating server hardware and software configurations.
Requirements :
  • Basic computer systems and Linux commands.
  • Minimum 2-year college degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent discipline.
  • 2-5 years of experience as a Test Technician in Computer Industry.
  • Ability to walk and stand on cement floors for long periods.
  • Ability to stand, stoop, bend, and performing repetitive tasks.
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at a time.
  • Must have excellent hand - eye coordination.
  • Must wear ear protection when working near the testing area.
