The Director of Operations is responsible for leading and optimizing all operational functions within a fast-paced IT infrastructure and server rack manufacturing environment. This role drives operational excellence by improving processes, enhancing cross‑functional collaboration, ensuring on‑time order fulfillment, and maintaining compliance with quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate is a leader with a strong manufacturing background and a proven ability to improve efficiency, productivity, and organizational performance.

Key Responsibilities Operational Excellence & Process Optimization
  • Analyze and improve operational workflows to eliminate bottlenecks, increase efficiency, and reduce operating costs
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing and best practices
Leadership & Team Development
  • Conduct performance evaluations and establish measurable objectives
  • Foster a collaborative, high‑performance culture focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement
Order Fulfillment & Supply Chain Coordination
  • Partner with supply chain, purchasing, production, and planning teams to ensure timely material availability and production schedules
  • Oversee material planning, inventory optimization, shortage tracking, and demand forecasting
  • Ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on schedule while maintaining inventory targets
Strategic Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement
  • Investigate operational issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable corrective and preventive actions
  • Lead cross‑functional initiatives that improve operational performance, quality, customer satisfaction, and profitability
Requirements
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive operations management experience, including leadership within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in IT infrastructure, electronics manufacturing, server rack manufacturing, or related industries is highly preferred
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred
  • MBA or advanced degree is a plus
Technical Skills
  • Strong proficiency with ERP systems
  • Experience with production planning, inventory management, and supply chain operations
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing KPIs, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies
