Shipping​/Packaging​/Material Handler - 1st Shift

Sanmina Corporation operates a fully equipped enclosure systems manufacturing plant in Fremont, California. The position is located at this facility and involves daily warehouse operations for new product introduction and full‑scale production.

A Shipping/Packaging Material Handler ensures the efficient movement, safe packaging, and accurate documentation of goods in a warehouse or facility. Responsibilities include processing shipments, loading/unloading trucks, operating warehouse equipment, and maintaining tight inventory control to prevent damage and delays.

• Performs the physical and administrative tasks involved in shipping, packaging, storing, and distributing materials and finished goods.
• Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices; maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items.
• Lifts heavy items and operates a forklift (standing or sitting rider) and hand pallet jack.
• Examines stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines.
• Assists with and performs other material handling duties as needed.
• Follows all company and facility policies including quality, safety, conduct and attendance.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to read and understand English.
• 2–4 years of warehouse/shipping/receiving experience preferred (e.g., pulling parts, transactions).
• Crating and packaging experience preferred.
• Experience with Oracle for transactions preferred.
• Forklift certification or experience.
• Experience with Fed Ex, UPS, international shipments, and commercial invoices preferred.
• Warehouse knowledge such as pulling parts and handling transactions.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Salary Range (annual): $49,920 - $58,240 ($24.00 - $28.00 per hour)
