Senior Optical Assembler

Gooch & Housego Keene seeks a Senior Optical Assembler to build high-precision photonic and optical assemblies for aerospace, defense, industrial, and life science applications. In this role, you will assemble and align complex optical components to tight tolerances, using microscopes, metrology tools, and detailed work instructions. You will interpret technical drawings, perform in-process and final inspections, and document results within a rigorous quality system.

Working closely with engineering and production teams, you will help resolve build issues, support continuous improvement, and mentor junior assemblers in a collaborative, quality-focused environment.
