Job Purpose:

The Assembly Production Supervisor oversees daily production operations, ensuring efficiency, quality standard, and safety compliance while managing floor staff. Key duties include scheduling workflows, training employees, troubleshooting machinery, and achieving production goals.

Nature of Duties/ Responsibilities:

* Works with all functions within the organization to drive continuous improvement and establish a culture of excellence in execution, and communication

* Recognizes and solves problems affecting operations in order to improve the performance and quality of services.

* Responsible for planning and maintaining schedules, directing the work of employees and training.

* Provides direction, coaching, counseling, and leadership to all direct reports to motivate employees.

* Improves performance, enhances service quality and heightens employee effectiveness.

* Performs a variety of tasks and must rely on experience to plan and accomplish goals.

* Responsible for possessing a general understanding of all areas within the organization and the ability to work with the experts within those areas.

* Leads a production team to meet and exceed targets related to People, Safety, Environment, Quality, Delivery, and Cost

* Coordinates production activities with purchasing, maintenance/facilities, engineering, and quality control to optimize team members, schedules, and production equipment.

* Engages with engineering team to utilize capacity models and assess constraints as projected demand changes

* Performs administrative duties such as regular employee meetings, timekeeping/attendance/vacation requests, performance appraisals (input with manager), disciplinary actions, interviewing, rewards & recognition, training and development.
